we are not moving around as usual these days. we do not need to do that any longer. we do have sort of medium term location that we can thrive and disturb no one in the process. we have reached a no-man land and we could be here for a little longer. there are food and essential resources that we can use to manage the daily lives. we can forage for food in the forest and we have plenty of dry woods for fire. we have built a few shelters along the river and everything is basic and good at the moment.
we do have a few things that need to be address especially with the kids that are having some kind of health issues. we have discussed and ready to bring them to the nearest village to see the medical doctor there. hopefully we can be ready by tomorrow afternoon and head on to the village. it will be a long walk but we will use the river up to the mid point and then see how we can reach the village before dark. if not we have to stay one night in the forest outside of the village and that can be dangerous. we will decide the journey first thing in the morning and hopefully all will be well.
through out the night i could not sleep. we still need to have a game plan for the next move because the ultimate is to find a permanent home for these guys and we can start to grow the families and also build the village of our own. it has been too long and many have never seen their own village for the longest time. kids are not immune to the dreaded stories of the glorification and what not but we do have to get some ideas rolling and then we can be better in the near future. this temporary place is not that bad also but we do have to deal with certain parties to get the approval for the permanent stay and these people have been distancing themselves from us for the past 3 years.
i took the leadership role for the village 3 years ago. that was after we had confrontation with the parties that controlled the areas. our then-chief was killed and the group chosen me to replace him. i wanted to meet the other parties to sort things out because it was ugly. they did not want to meet because they accused us of inciting the fights and that we are going to do that again.
since then we did have a few short meetings to conjure better discussion but to no avail. it has been 3 years since and we ought to get through the people there one more time and see what can be done after all these silent years.
when the time to rise above them all we salute the people that have been working hard through out their lives. there is nothing forgiving about that and there is nothing that you can do when it comes to the necessary evil eyes that we rolled out through out the years and the smirking and also the cheese that came from the side of the mouth that we could not do much for a little while. that can be done through out the season and also capping it at the end of the road trip. but it was not that easy to do and we can never acgtully do that all the time. people will notice and catch the things that we are trying to deceive and they will reprimand and scold us for nothing that we can do about that.
it will not be long from now. the stars are ready to put up another awesome show tonight. the clouds have been good this week. they shy away and let the others glow in the dark. the people will be happy for another day and celebrated the lost ones without and sadness and only joy can be seen on the ground from where they have been for the past few months. this is a joyous occasion and yet again it is masking the danger that always lurking at the end of the forest. in the dark. silently and patiently looking around to pounce and also to run amok from time to time. it is not the time yet. they retrieve and decided to get along with them for a little longer and tolerate their acceptable level of noise for a little while. food is abundance and they did not have to compete for that.
